The
CAMPBELL ASIA PACIFIC (CAP) group of companies is
firmly established in the S.E. Asia region as a leader in
the field of Project Management Support, Expediting and
Independent Inspection.The parent company was established
in Singapore in 1981.
The
CAP group principally provides services to major oil companies,
owners and users in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining,
Onshore, Offshore, Marine and Power Generation industries.
The
group has offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei,
Indonesia, China, Hong Kong and Australia. In addition,
it has established alliances with other groups of companies
that offer similar services in the main industrial locations
around the world.
The
consolidation of resources and management systems has enabled
CAP to effect an increase in overall service productivity
to the benefit of its clients. Important factors have been
the natural synergy between the offices and the uniform
application of a quality management system based on ISO
9001:2000.
The
parent company, Campbell Associates Pte Ltd, is certified
by Lloyd's Register QA to ISO 9001:2000, BS EN ISO 9001:2000,
ANSI/ASQC Q9001:2000 and SS ISO 9001:2000. Its certification
scope is the "Provision of inspection and expediting
services for the oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, onshore,
offshore, marine and power generation industries".
CAP
has scheduled a programme to attain certification for its
offices in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia within the next
few years.
CAP
has a regional base of over 50 professionally qualified
and experienced personnel, specializing in the provision
of Project Management Support, Quality Assurance, Auditing,
Expediting and Independent Inspection Services. CAP has,
at its disposal, a large base of experts and specialists
with specific experience in: refineries; petrochemical plants;
power generation plants; FPSO facilities; drilling rigs;
wellhead & subsea completion equipment and systems; offshore
jacket structures; FPT Pipeline facilities; platforms; process,
gas compression and accommodation modules; LNG plants etc.
The range of expertise covers design, procurement, construction,
testing, site installation and commissioning stages.
CAP's
Services are executed in accordance with its documented
Quality Management System (QMS). Reviews of and audits on
the QMS are undertaken regularly to ensue its continuing
suitability and effectiveness in satisfying CAP's stated
quality objectives and meeting customer requirements.
CAP
has developed in-house software applications to assist in
the management of its services. These include the Assignment
Management System (eMAN) and Personnel Resources Management
System (PRMS).

eMAN captures, analyses and reports on all
inspection, expediting and project management assignments
in each office. This enables all projects and assignments
to be monitored, analysed, reported and invoiced effectively
and efficiently. The system is web based using the latest
Internet technologies. The system allows the user (management,
staff and client) the flexibility of accessing the information
via a browser anytime, anywhere.

These
software solutions are the key to ensuring timely response
to clients' requirements and in providing constant monitoring
of all assignments and projects handled by the CAP group.
CAP
has been at the forefront in utilizing Information Technology
in support of its services. Field personnel are provided
with notebook computers that enable reports to be processed
in and transmitted from the field to the office and clients.
Electronic mail and digital imaging technologies ensure
meaningful, informative and illustrative same day reporting
to clients worldwide.
CAP's
management is committed to the Health and Safety of its
employees, the general public and the protection of the
Environment. It indoctrinates its staff on awareness and
prevention of Health, Safety and Environmental hazards through
its Safety Plan, Safety Manual and series of HSE audits
and inspections. Personnel are constantly briefed and checked
on HSE issues, both in the office and at site. CAP believes
that healthy and safe practices are part of and the key
to the provision of Quality Service.
